How We Hire

Thank you for considering Biogen as the next step in your career! We are excited to share what you can expect during your recruitment experience with us. Please note, this process can vary by position and region.

Hiring Milestones

Screening

Once your application is reviewed, a member of our recruitment team will evaluate your experience and skillset against the job criteria and, if a match is identified, they will reach out to you for an initial phone conversation. If selected for the screening stage, your recruiting contact will provide more specific details regarding the interview process and will be available to answer any questions you might have.

Interviews

Interviews are an opportunity to get to know each other better. As we evaluate your skills and experience for a position, you will have a chance to learn more about us, our culture and our values. The interview step typically includes meeting the hiring manager virtually or in-person, as well as several members of the hiring team. Depending on the position, this process can include one or more rounds of interviews. In some cases, you may be asked to conduct a presentation as part of the interview process.

Offer

This is the final step, and we hope we’ll have the pleasure of extending you an offer! Your recruiting partner will reach out to you to discuss the details once an offer has been extended. Biogen’s compensation packages are based on skills, experience, internal equity and current market analysis. Upon acceptance of an offer, we ask you to complete a pre-employment screening process, which varies globally depending on the position requirements, job location, and local laws and customs.

Welcome aboard

Welcome to Biogen! Once you officially sign on to our team, the onboarding process begins. You can expect to hear directly from your manager, who will provide additional materials and other helpful information leading up to your first day. During this time, you will receive your IT equipment and information about New Employee Orientation, which is typically hosted on your first day.
