Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)

In December 2017, Biogen launched a new collaboration with Ionis to identify new therapeutic options — specifically, new antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) candidates, which are designed to treat SMA — for individuals with this debilitating condition.
